Q1: Why does the article refer to the Titanic as "she/her" rather than "it/its"?
A1: Per WP:SHE4SHIPS, the vessel is referred to with feminine pronouns. This is not to be changed without consensus. Yeah I agree, I found a site called '36 ft Dream' that has accurate titanic design plans with clear identifications and it is properly detailed but most of them are in a PDF format and I have them converted to PNG versions of it. I think it means that the deck itself (as in "hit the deck!") extends continuously from bow to stern in some way, without transverse interruption. This image illustrates what I mean. If that's what is meant, then G deck is indeed the lowest complete deck, whereas decks lower than that are transversely interrupted by the boiler spaces. Having said all of that, the article text is ill-defined and clearly contradictory, so I'm in favor of just removing those qualifiers until a source can clear it up.Orange Suede Sofa (talk) 04:49, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
