Casinos in fiction

Casinos are frequently used in fiction to develop dramatic tension between major characters. They are also used to imply opulence or excess. The portrayal of casinos varies by the media in which they are presented, casinos in tv shows frequently being depicted in a morally-neutral light, while casinos in movies are frequently shown in a negative light as self-destructive elements.
