The Foam Finger

The Foam Finger is the twenty-ninth episode of Nickelodeon's television series, Drake & Josh. The episode first premiered on October 8th, 2005, as the ninth episode of the third season.

Plot synopsis

Template:Spoiler Walter and Audrey spark a fight between Drake and Josh when they mention a Padres game.

It is revealed that Drake and Josh first met when they were eight (as opposed to having met in the seventh grade, as was previously said) at a Padres game. They both were hoping to buy a foam finger, but Drake ends up buying the last one. The younger versions of Drake and Josh end up getting into a fight, causing the police to be called on two eight year-olds. Drake and Josh tell their side of the story, both saying that the other started the fight, Josh saying that Drake thumped him when he was looking away. When Drake produces the foam finger, Josh immediately rips it in half, and they won't let it go. They become terrible enemies, hating eachother even more than Megan (who Drake is forced to sleep in the room of after he moves out of his room with Josh). Finally Megan decides to end the fight by bringing in the only person that can end the feud, the man who sold Drake the foam finger all those years ago. It is then discovered that Megan threw a cookie which hit Josh and started the fight. The man makes Walter pay him $100 for a bobblehead doll, which Drake then takes. Template:Episode navigation

• [Walter enters the bathroom, turns on the light and screams]

Walter: You can't sleep in the bathroom, either! [Drake walks out with his stuff]

• Audrey: So, how was school?

Drake: You're the worst!

Josh: You sicken me!

Audrey: I see.

Megan: Uh...anybody want more chicken?

Josh: I hope you go bald.

Drake: I hope they cancel Opera!

Josh: GASP! Take that back!

Walter: Alright. Dinner is OVER!

Notes

• During the flashback, the two younger future brothers met but they were not really them.
• Apparently, Drake is afraid of the attic, since he says that there are "monsters" in there.
• Unless you count the flashbacks, this is the first episode to take place entirely at the Parker/ Nichols house.
