Melika Mahmutbegović in 2015

Melika Mahmutbegović is a Bosnian politician and surgeon. She was Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2015[1] to 2023.

She was born 20 April 1959 in Bugojno.[2] In 1983 she completed her medical studies in Sarajevo.[2] After graduating, she worked as a family doctor and surgeon.[3]

She has been a member of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina since April 1992.[2]

In 1998 she was elected as a member of the Assembly of the Central Bosnia Canton.[2] In 2002 general elections, she was elected as a member of the House of Representatives of Parliament. In 2010 she was re-elected to the House of Representatives. She is a member of SDA BiH.[2]

Mahmutbegović was Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from February 2015 to February 2023.
