Disparity with Sequential logic

[edit]

I've noticed a little bit of disparity between this article, and the articles sequential logic, combinational logic.

At the moment, logic circuit redirects to the logic gate article, with little content about logic circuits. And whilst this article needs to reflect more than just logic circuits, the definition this article gives of a circuit (as a directed acyclic graph) excludes sequential logic circuits. Is it correct to do that? I'd vote that content specifically about logic circuits, is more suited to be included on this page, than on the logic gates page. The logic gates page already has a lot of content, whilst this page doesn't. The title of this page is just as synonymous with logic circuits (including sequential logic circuits), as the title of the logic gates page, but this page at least shares a taxonomic relationship conceptually. And I'm not sure that circuit in the context of computer science should be limited to the context this article was written in. Brad7777 (talk) 09:46, 24 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
