Template:Lead extra info/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by 184.146.170.127 (talk) at 09:55, 14 June 2024 (Less misreadable). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

Usage

Place {{Lead extra info|date=November 2024}} at the top of articles where the lead section contains information that is not mentioned elsewhere in the article.

  • Use this template when a lead fact isn't discussed by the body at all. Instead use {{Template:Not verified in body}} when the body does discuss the fact, but fails to verify it.
  • Use this template regardless of whether the fact is verified (by the lead) or not. (WP:LEADCITE allows for facts to be verified in the lead, but not for facts to only be discussed by the lead)
