Question from Avantannmary67 on Talk:Stephen J. Townsend (15:22, 9 June 2024)
My question is, why do people take advantage of a kernel like a 4 star general like that. Take his identity. I do know how he feels because I have had Facebook. And they took money from me? But when I first seen his picture it was on a dating site. And I thought I was really talking to the real. 4 star general. I feel feel so bad for him. Because I fell in love with him. But thou I haf got a broken heart from it and I wanted to apologize to heap for everything because that's not his fault. And I see people blaming him, and it's not his fault. I wanted to tell him how to. It it to me. I know i.e. feels if they took money from me too oh well, I'm used to that. I've been hacked before from scammers. I wanted to tell him that I am so sorry for what happened to him. Have you ever wanted to contact me and talk to me? I will talk to him because I know how he feels. Thank you, and if you need any more information on me, just let PM. E and let me know --Avantannmary67 (talk) 15:22, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
Question from Sinister Terror Rogue (05:11, 10 June 2024)
How often is each edited fact checked and what is the fact checking process. For instance. If i am a member of MS13. Who is fact checking my edits? Is it a member of the gang. Or is it based off of someones perspective of what it is or is not. Who scores fact from fiction? And what procedures do they follow in order to score a fact from fiction correctly. In other words. What is corrrect and what is vandalism. --Sinister Terror Rogue (talk) 05:12, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hey @Sinister Terror Rogue:, welcome to Wikipedia. On Wikipedia all stated facts are supposed to be backed up by a reliable source in the form of an inline citation so that information can be verified. This allows us to determine what is established to be true from hoaxes or vandalism. In addition editors strive to write content with a neutral point of view so that one's perspective does not cause bias to be introduced in the article. Hope this helps.
