Janved Ka Pura Gurjar (formerly Janvedpura)[citation needed] is a village in Agra district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and situated on the Bank of Chambal River (the Ghadiyal Sanctuary). It is about 60 km from Agra. The distance between Janved Ka Pura Gurjar and Chambal is only 5 km[1].
History
Janved Ka Pura Gurjar was founded by Baba Janved Singh Gurjar in 1913[1]. It has an average elevation of 135 metres (443 ft)[4]. Baba Janved Singh Gurjar donated a major part of his land to the people of Janvedpura to settle in this village[1].
Culture
Janved Ka Pura Gurjar is known for its Shiv Ji Mandir Shiva) Temple, The temple was built in 1952[1]. The people of Janved Ka Pura Gurjar follow hinduism[1]. Most of the population is Gurjar.

As of 2011 Indian Census, Janved Ka Pura Gurjar had a total population of 280, of which 150 were males and 130 were females.[5] Population within the age group of 0 to 6 years was 30. The total number of literates in Janved Ka Pura Gurjar was 98, which constituted 35% of the population with male literacy of 60% and female literacy of 40%. The Scheduled Castes population was 10. Pinahat had 32 households in 2011.[2][failed verification][6]
