Review

Tru finds Davis’ research on her callings for help and asks him to get rid of it as Jack suspects something. She then goes to buy a car with Harry, but falls asleep as Harry is making the deal. She wakes up to find that she just bought the Jeep for $2000. Davis is scurrying around the morgue because a famous actress is coming to research death for her next role. She was very interested on how one would get a certificate of death without a body found. Right after she leaves, a guy comes in looking for Carly. As Harry and Lindsey prepare for dinner with Lindsey’s sister. They run into Jack at a funeral. Jack tells them it is a friend and then Harry goes for a drink with Jack. As they are drinking their beer, and Jack is prying Harry for information on Tru, Tru calls Harry and tells him her jeep is a lemon and she needs a ride home. Jack offers to get her because Harry has to get ready for dinner. The dinner was a success. Jack gets a call for a pick up and takes Tru along with him. It is Carly. Apparently she called 911 saying that someone was trying to run her off the road. As Tru is standing by her body, she asks for help, the day rewinds.

Tru wakes up in the jeep and tells Harry and the salesman that she wants the red car not the jeep. She offered him $1500, stood firm and made the deal without Harry’s help. This time when Carly shows up at the morgue, Tru starts asking personal questions and upsets Carly. She asks Davis to continue with the interview as she follows the assistant to the diner to ask more questions about Carly. The assistant informs Tru that Carly is well loved. The only time she ever disappeared was 8 years ago when she had a nervous breakdown. But she has since recovered and is stronger than ever before. Tru goes back to the morgue to see Carly arguing with the same man that was looking for her. Tru stole her purse so she could return it and hopefully ask more questions. Harry and Lindsey run into Jack again and the two go off to the bar. This time they drink shots and Jack gives Harry advice about relationships, bad advice that is. Because Tru has a better car, the two go their separate ways. Harry is held at gunpoint as the gunman asks for his car keys. Jack tells Harry not to give them up and talks down to the gunman. The gunman points the gun at Jack and threatens to shoot him. Jack, unwavering still tells the gunman that he does not have the guts to pull the trigger and is right. The gunman flees. Harry is shaken up and as he is talking to Jack, Jack tells him that he does not have a death wish that death is coming anyway. Harry shows up late for the dinner. Lindsey breaks up with him. Tru goes to give Carly back her purse and tries to ask questions again, only to infuriate Carly more. But Tru did meet her “sister”. Tru can only follow her and hope to get answers by observations. Carly drives off to a warehouse and hands the guy that she was arguing with an envelope with money. Tru stops the guy to find out that he knows Carly’s secret and she is paying him off not to take it to press. Tru figures out that the secret is that little girl is not her sister, but actually her daughter. Tru returns to Carly’s mother’s house to see Carly fighting with her assistant. When Carly sped off, Tru asked the assistant what happened. She was in a fender bender with a red car and Carly got upset. Then the assistant informs Tru that she just found out there is no morgue movie in the making for Carly. Tru figured out that Carly is planning on faking her own death, but she is left asking how she died the first time. Tru goes to the bridge to over hear Carly talking to 911 and see her car disappearing into the river. Tru is still trying to figure out how she died when a truck speeding by almost hits them. Carly explains that the only way to be with her daughter is to leave the country. Tru and Davis show up at the pick up and there is no body to be found. Jack caresses the exact spot where they found the body the first time and says that wherever she is must be a better place.

Once again we are left wanting more. More answers, more information and definitely more TRU! Jack left us some hints on what his purpose is this time. First off he is not afraid of death, but embraces it. He also said something that made me think “one day you are here the next day you are not” as he was caressing the same spot where Carly was found dead. So was he talking about death, or was he talking about the missing body. Does he know what happened in the first time, can he read Tru’s mind, or does he have a sixth sense. In due time, ALL will be revealed. Keep watching.[1]
