The origin of Saspers is not known. Most probably they are Scythian tribe not Caucasian or Kartvelians. There is no reliable citation for a Kartvelian language. Please correct the classification. Matenagir (talk) 13:48, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

So, is the ONLY contemporary mention of Saspers / Saspeirs in Herodotus, and everything else is from modern historians trying to deduce who or what or where Herodotus was referring to? Tiptoethrutheminefield (talk) 14:25, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
