Smaller alternative

Xpdf depends on quite some libraries. If you only need it for i.e. Typo3 indexed search (and don't use X), you better use pdftotext from poppler. Poppler is Based on the xpdf-3.0 code base. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.56.118.18 (talk) 11:09, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
