Miss World 2025 will be the 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant. Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic will crown her successor at the end of the event.[1]

Background

Selection of participants

Replacements

Ismeli Jarquin, the original titleholder of Miss World Nicaragua, resigned for undisclosed reasons. She was then replaced by her first runner-up, Julia Aguilar.[2][3] Miss Polonia 2024 Maja Klajda replaced Ewa Jakubiec[4] as Poland's representative for Miss World as the latter's reign had already elapsed.[5]

Debuts, returns, and withdrawals

This edition will feature the returns of Belarus which last competed in 2019, and Albania and Equatorial Guinea which last competed in 2021.[6][7]
