Renforth is a former villiage situated in Kings County, New Brunswick. Named after James Renforth, a rower from Britain who had died of heart failure during a rowing match in August, 1870. After his death the villiage was renamed Renforth. The name was constant from 1870 to 1998. In 1998 the villiage merged with other communities situated along the lower Kennebecasis River to become the town of Rothesay, New Brunswick, Canada.
