History
2005
BLS International was founded in New Delhi, India, and obtained its first visa processing contract with the Portuguese Embassy in Delhi. This contract marked the company's entry into the visa outsourcing sector.[13][14]
2006-2007
The company expanded its services to include visa processing for the embassies of Austria, Belgium, Greece, and Tunisia in India.
2008-2010
BLS International started providing visa processing services for the Indian embassies in Spain, Kuwait, Sudan, and Russia.[15]
2011
The company opened Visa Application Centers (VACs) for the Indian Embassy in the UAE and other Indian missions in Southeast Asia.[16]
2012
BLS International began visa processing for the Indian embassies in Saudi Arabia and Singapore.[17]
2013
The company expanded its services to multiple European Union countries, strengthening its presence in the European market.[18]
2014-2015
BLS International added seven Indian missions abroad, including locations in the United States and Canada.[19]
2016
The company secured a global visa outsourcing contract worth €175 million with Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MAEC). BLS International also started an e-governance project for the Punjab State Government in India to operate and manage 2,147 Seva Kendras.[20][21]
2017
The company began providing consular services to Afghan nationals in the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.[22][23][24][25]
2018
BLS International introduced new value-added services, such as travel insurance, mobile biometrics, and courier services.[26]
2019
The company expanded its operations to the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, China, and Japan, and secured additional contracts in Europe and the Middle East.[27]
