Theooolone (/ðiˈlwʌn/ thee-OOL-wun) (born 2006) is an English pseudonymous internet user who needs to touch grass.[1]

...

Hello, I'm Theooolone! I've been quietly posting things I've created onto the internet for the past 9 years,[a] and this is my Wikipedia user page! If you're here, there's a 90% chance it's because I did something stupid...[citation needed]

Due to my autism, I often find books, websites, or other forms of text hard to read if they contain too many metaphors, euphemisms, or other vague and indirect instances of language.[b] Advertisements on webpages can also be extremely distracting, especially when completely overwhelming the content I wish to read.[c] This is why I love Wikipedia so much, not only is the design of the site clean and ad-free, but the language is plain and direct! It's wonderful how a site like this can exist without collapsing in on itself, thank you Wikipedians for holding up the number 1 encyclopedia!

You won't see any userboxes on my user page because I don't like them! I think putting random interesting and silly facts about yourself on your page is fun, but personally I find userboxes clutter the page and don't look visually appealing at all.

Since I don't really know what else to put here... This is my favorite colour, hex code #7FBFFF

How I contribute

Like most Wikipedians, I edit topics mainly devoted to topics I'm interested in, although sometimes I do find myself editing pages on topics other than my interests after finding myself deep inside a rabbit hole.[2]

I'm too oblivious to make opinions on or edit articles concerning politics, so I consider myself apolitical,[d] any edits I do make to political or contreversial pages will highly likely be minor edits like correcting spelling mistakes.

For now a good portion of my time as a Wikipedia editor is spent reading the Wikipedia namespace and editing my userspace to learn the guidelines, etiquette, and other good practices on here.[e] Although the amount of mainspace edits I've been making has ramped up lately as I've become more confident with editing!

Contact

You can message me using my talk page, and I'll see it whenever I next use Wikipedia. If you need to contact me fast, you can find me on YouTube or ping @Theooolone on the Wikimedia Community Discord server! See the external links section below for more ways to contact me.

If you really need to contact me on some weird specific site, you can see a full list of every account I have at https://theoool.one/, but I'm inactive on most of them so I highly reccomend using one of the links in the external links section.

Notes

  1. ^ My first account with this username was on Scratch, created in 2015 (Link)
  2. ^ A friend tried to introduce me to philosophy once, it did not go well
  3. ^ You know who you are.
  4. ^ Although in several cases I subscribe to ideologies typically considered more left-leaning, like Progressivism, I personally consider my involvement in these more of a social stance rather than a polical one.
  5. ^ Thank goodness I found out about WP:NOTWEBHOST before I wrote a whole damn autobiography on this user page and got told off for it! I was this close to publishing the text "Soon I may use this page as an 'about me' page of sorts for me to link to from other sites" or something before I had a moment of clarity and realised that could be against the rules.
