Mark Peters (born 6th July 1972) is a Welsh defender currently playing in the Nationwide Conference for Cambridge United.

Peters failed to make the breakthrough at his first club, Manchester City and moved to Norwich City seeking first team football. When that didn't materialise he moved to Peterborough United where he made his first team debut in 1993. Spells at Mansfield Town and Rushden & Diamonds yielded over 200 appearances with 18 goals to boot and it was whilst at Diamonds that he enjoyed two promotions, helping them first into the Football League and then into what is now League One.

After leaving Rushden he spend two injury plagued seasons with Leyton Orient and also spent a short spell on loan at Aldershot Town where he made a solitary FA Cup appearance. He was released by Orient in 2005 and joined Cambridge United where he has been a regular feature in the defence.
