Request protection of a page, or increasing the protection level

Semi-protection due to persistent IP vandalism. Wellington Bay (talk) 01:14, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Aoidh (talk) 02:19, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary full protection: Content dispute/edit warring – Weeks of edit warring, plus sock puppet and vandalism accusations. No attempt to discuss on talk page by any involved. Escape Orbit (Talk) 09:31, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement – ARBPIA. Jdcomix (talk) 15:37, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Persistent vandalism in a BLP by an unregistered user seemingly using different IPs Leafy46 (talk) 15:44, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Observed numerous amounts of vandalism mostly from IP accounts, mainly revolving around the film's box office and critical response. Dusty Kelpie (talk) 16:18, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: High level of repeated IP vandalism. Require semi-protection + blocking of the IP user. Magentic Manifestations (talk) 16:29, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User(s) blocked. Isabelle Belato 🏳‍🌈 21:19, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement – AP2. Jdcomix (talk) 17:02, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User(s) blocked. Isabelle Belato 🏳‍🌈 21:14, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – There's been a surge in disruptive IPs since late July. TheWikiToby (talk) 18:09, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: constant persistent vandalism by User talk:DraupadiPandavas (latest sock account of User: Kairakairav). Warnings given, no response, others pages like Kunti, Pandu, Madri were earlier requested as well. Banning the user doesnt help as sockmaster make similar disruptive edits using diff alt accounts and IPs..245CMR.👥📜 19:45, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – just to slow things down for a while. — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 20:55, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Persistent content dispute (mediation attempted, see personal talk page and WP:HOCKEY). The IP has been told to stop and insists on deviance from project standard (consensus). mftp dan oops 22:12, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Ip's and new users. BLP violations. Knitsey (talk) 22:32, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: This is due to a news story about the subject of the article hiring consultants for paid editing on his Wikipedia page. The article contains a direct link to Wikipedia, so vandalism is very likely to continue for a couple days until the story dies down. Jamedeus (talk) 02:16, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – User is being harassed by ip. They are asking for tp protection. Knitsey (talk) 23:02, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: IP edit warring against consensus GoodDay (talk) 23:34, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have already filed a request for this page. mftp dan oops 23:44, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Extended-confirmed protection: Consistent disruptive editing by IP users and DraupadiPandavas (talk · contribs) after previous protection gor over including removal of several key characters played by less recognised actors and cameo characters played by recognised actors and addition of fake information for several characters by removal of actual information. Please protect this page from this particular User DraupadiPandavas (talk · contribs) too as she is also constantly doing same disruptive editing like IP users. Pri2000 (talk), 23:58, 07 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

    • Commemt: User: DraupadiPandavas(talk) is a sockpuppet of consistent sockpuppet user from around years Kairakairav. So consistent disruptive edits are done by this sockpuppet and other IP users.

Pri2000 (talk) 01:46, 08 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Multiple IP addresses are attempting to add unreliable sources implying that subject died from Covid vaccine - see this example edit. MiasmaEternal 00:21, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – IP editor keeps on pushing their disruptive edits on the page, which remove large amounts of content to push caste-based POV views: [1], [2]. MaplesyrupSushi (talk) 01:12, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: On 6 January 2023 at 20:14, a user with IP address 50.100.114.7 (no username) snuck in a false nickname for the town of Hawkesbury, "Birthplace of Andrew Alberts-Scherer". This went unnoticed until July 13 2024 when I randomly decided to look up this Andrew person, and discovered they are not a person who is significant to Hawkesbury's history or culture. The official Town of Hawkesbury website also has no reference to this person. I removed the false nickname; but as of today, the false nickname has been added back SIX times, by username Oliverfoster27 as well as another user 209.171.85.162. Someone is doing this on purpose intentionally, and I don't know why or what their intention is. I am asking for your help to protect this Wikipedia page and stop this repeated vandalism I have had to continuously undo. I am not sure how else to stop this. Thank you.
