What is the definition of a disruptive edit request?

In the current state where definition is lacking, any admin is free to remove/hide any edit request we don't agree with under the excuse that that edit request is "disruptive". 79.183.197.96 (talk) 12:33, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would imagine that the vast majority of non-bot edits on Wikipedia are based on heuristics rather than definitions. ANI, AN, AE etc. operate without a definition of "disruptive". For edit requests, I think it is more practical to ask the question "Is this an edit request or thereabouts?" (i.e. something resembling the guidelines in WP:MAKINGEREQ and WP:EDITXY) rather than "Is this a disruptive edit request?" because the set of negative results will automatically include disruptive things in most cases. thank you for your reply,
I have filed the edit request I wished to file at the best of my ability to follow the guidelines to the letter, I hope this time around my edit request would be according to the rules. 79.183.197.96 (talk) 21:18, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
