Merge proposal

[edit]

The August proposal to merge this page with Vakil seems very reasonable, as these seem to be just alternative transliterations. Even if there are differences in use (Ottoman term versus others), the meaning is so similar that I think that they are best discussed in one place. Perhaps Wakil too?

  • Yes, merge all three for now. The oldest article is this one, begun in June 2015, two months before Wakil. The latter represents the Arabic transliteration. I slightly before the latter as a title for the broad article. They can always be unbundled in the future when expanded, but for now it seems best to just lump them together.
