Loan to Lobos BUAP

Quiñones joined recently promoted side Lobos BUAP on loan for the 2017 Apertura championship, where he would become the third top goal scorer of the season with nine goals. In the 2018 Clausura championship, Quiñones would once again be the top goal scorer for Lobos, scoring eight goals.
