Michael Kyd (born 21st May 1977) was an English professional footballer who played for Cambridge United.

Coming through the youth ranks at The Abbey Stadium, striker Kyd played 124 games for the club, scoring 35 goals. His promise led to a trial at Watford before he was forced to retire through injury at the age of just 23 in 2000.
