Terry Major-Ball (1932 - March 13th 2007) was the elder brother of the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Sir John Major. A banker by trade, he inherited his father's love of garden gnomes.[1]

For a while after his family relationship became known by the media, he endured a brief fame and appeared on Have I Got News For You and the Mrs Merton Show. In 1994, he wrote an autobiography entitled Major Major: Memoires of an Older Brother.

He died in March 2007 from cancer at a hospice in Chard, Somerset.
