The 2024–25=Sun Belt men's basketball season began with practices in October 2024, followed by the start of the 20204–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Conference play will begin in December 2024, and concluded in March 2025. The 2025 Sun Belt Conference men's basketball tournament will take place at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Florida.

James Madison
On March 29, 2024, former Morehead State head coach Preston Spradlin was named head coach after Mark Byington was named head coach of Vanderbilt. [1] [2]
