(The System of) Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether

"The System of Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether" is a 1976 single by The Alan Parsons Project which first appeared on their album Tales of Mystery and Imagination. It starts out with a electric guitar riff and then, drums and bass immediately follow. The soaring keyboards come in, and deep enchanting voices sing the refrain, "Just what you need to make you feel better." The first half of the song is played in C. The coda of the song shifts from C to D. It starts with a riff, and then some licks. When the organs come in, the riff sort of fades. Then, the synthesizers repeat to fade. The ending also contains the guitar solo.

The guy who sings the refrain sounds like the Jolly Green Giant.
