Sae Maeda (born in 1998) is a Japanese ballet dancer and is currently a First Soloist with The Royal Ballet.

Early Life

Maeda was born in 1998 in Yokohama, Japan and started dancing ballet at the age of 7 at the Mayumi Kinuchi school of Ballet.[1]

Awards

She has won the Prix de Lausanne, the MET competition and the Critic's Circle National Dance 2023 for emerging dancers.[1][2][3]
