Dr. Aliakbar Gulasan (Jawi: ‏علي أكبر بن ۢولاسن‎‎) is a Malaysian politician of Bajau/Pakistani descent from Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia. He is an official member and the Sabah State Chairman of Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS). At the party level, he is a member of the Central PAS Working Committee. He is a Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Heritage, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). He was appointed as the Chairman of the Malaysian Cocoa Board.[1]

Politics

After the Malaysian Islamic Party leadership election, he was elected as a member of the Central PAS Working Committee[2].
