Pretty obvious case of WP:DUCK. At the time of their blocking on May 1, Koushik Pain was on a run creating articles of Ashoka Chakra (military decoration) recipients and editing existing articles of other recipients. Morholsantanu started editing May 2 and continued doing the exact same thing. GPL93 (talk) 03:04, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • CheckUser requested and endorsed by clerk - Definitely NOT a duck - KP was a repeat copyviolator, Morholsantanu has no copyvio notices. Morholsantanu was registered 4+ months before KP was blocked. However, the accusation of block evasion deserves checking and, given Morholsantanu's sleepy months, a check for sleepers would be prudent. Cabayi (talk) 07:45, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Creating articles about Indian Military awardees with copyvio content, same as Koushik Pain. Siddsg was active again after the block of Koushik Pain. And displays same behavior as Koushik Pain, the user does not reply to any messages on talk page and keep creating plethora of articles violating Wikipedia policies.   • I am replying here because of the SPI notice sent to me on my talk page. I dont know who is Koushik Pain (archives show he was last checked on May 2020). Filer should be using common sense because I am editing since 2007 and have been active even this whole year. If Koushik Pain was me then I had to be indeffed weeks or months ago.   • no Declined. From a behavioral perspective, this seems quite improbable. Siddsg is an account with more than 1000 edits, active since about February 2020, and the overlap between their interests doesn't seem convincing enough. Additionally, Koushik Pain appears to edit primarily from their phone using the mobile interface, whereas Siddsg appears to be much more proficient at editing and doesn't use the mobile interface. For these reasons, I am not convinced enough to run a CheckUser investigation and am closing this case without action. Mz7 (talk) 07:07, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Recreated List of Vir Chakra award recipients (2020–2029), Rajinder Kumar Sharma, and Nectar Sanjenbam, which were all created by Kumarsaikat and deleted under WP:G5 in 2021. jlwoodwa (talk) 15:10, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have created the pages Nectar Sanjenbam and Rajinder Kumar Sharma as both are the recipients of India's second highest peacetime gallantry award Kirti Chakra and third highest gallantry award Shaurya Chakra. Only 5 people have been awarded the both award.(Out of 5, Before the creation of another two pages, there were only two person's pages available Saurabh Singh Shekhawat and Ajay Kothiyal and there is no page available of Vila Pralie Angami). On the other hand I have created List of Shaurya Chakra award recipients (2020-2029), Shaurya Chakra is the third highest peacetime gallantry award so I have created another third highest war time gallantry award Vir Chakra (2020-2029) list i.e. List of Vir Chakra award recipients (2020-2029) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maverick Dada (talk • contribs) 17:20, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • There is too much similarity between the articles deleted as G5s and the versions created recently for it to be coincidence; either it's the same person copying in the same draft, or it's a different person copying the same draft, and in either case it's not acceptable.
