Uncanny X-MenThe Uncanny X-Men – The name of the book includes the definite article "The" as its first word, as seen by looking at the cover. Nightscream (talk) 16:30, 23 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

End of Greys can be merged here briefly, it does not need to be deleted. 2600:1700:E820:1BA0:6C25:525C:A2C8:1915 (talk) 13:06, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

The series' (Vol. 1, 1963–2011) title wasn't changed to Uncanny X-Men with issue #114 (October 1978); this is false. The adjective "Uncanny" was first added on the cover with issue #114 onward, but the series didn't officially change titles until Uncanny X-Men #142 (February 1981). A change of title on the cover does not imply an official title change; the official title is reflected on the indicia inside. Every comic-book on this series prior to Uncanny X-Men #142 should correctly be referenced as X-Men #1–141.--Pagina18 (talk) 18:26, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

18 Annuals

[edit]

So the information stating that their are only 18 Annuals to Uncanny X-Men vol. 1 (1963; 1981) is inaccurate. In addition, there is an annual for Uncanny X-Men vol. 4 that is unlisted as well...

If you observe the entry for Uncanny X-Man vol. 1 (1981) on the "List of X-Men comics" alphabetical page[X-Men List of Annuals: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_X-Men_comics#U], you will discover that not only did this volume include 18 Annual issues from about 1982 through 1994, it in addition had a continuation referenced as Annual(s) '95, '96, '97, Uncanny X-Men / Fantastic Four Annual-'98 & '99, that makes for 5 (five) additional Annuals.

This continues with the Annual 2000, and Annual 2001, making for 7 additional annuals.

Finally, their are apparently three more additional annuals simply numbered "#1, #2, & #3" where the applicable month/year dated to these final three annuals are August 2006, March 2009, and May 2011Uncanny X-Men Annuals (2006-2011) https://comicvine.gamespot.com/uncanny-x-men-annual/4050-18405/.

In conclusion, I propose that the media template featuring the Issue count for the first volume account for 28 collected annuals [10 (ten) additional], instead of the presently listed count of 18.

There is an singular Annual from Uncanny X-Men vol. 4 listed as published on January 2017 that needs to be added to the media templateUncanny X-Men vol. 4, Annual #1 ref: https://comicvine.gamespot.com/uncanny-xmen-annual/4050-95754/. --2076tricenti (talk) 13:47, 29 June 2022 (UTC) --2076tricenti (talk) 13:53, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
