Bouli

Bouli is a town in southern Mauritania, near the border with Mali.

Bouli and Friends

Bouli and Friends is the name of a popular children's television show in the late 80's to early 90's. The show was about a snowman, Bouli, who was given a magical red nose by the Moon that gave him and his snowman friends the power not to melt. This enabled them to do all kinds of things, such as go swimming, visit the desert, and so on.

The show was originally in French, but was translated into Irish, broadcast on RTÉ (Network 2) originally, and later on the Irish television channel TnaG (now TG4) in the later 90's.

Bouli was well-known for its loveable characters and catchy themesong.

Bouli's girlfriend was called Lien.
