Information icon Hello, I'm Stesmo. I noticed that you made a change to an article, History of WWE, but you didn't provide a reliable source. Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 1990 in film, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Mackenzie (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Famousbirthdays.com as a source

[edit]

Hi Babyiluvu223. I noticed that you recently used famousbirthdays.com as a source for information in a biography article, Michael DeLorenzo. Please note that there is general consensus that famousbirthdays.com does not meet the reliable sourcing criteria for the inclusion of personal information in such articles. (See Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_153#Is_famousbirthdays.com_a_reliable_source_for_personal_information). If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 21:44, 3 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) is there any source to prove he was born in 1959? 06:51, 3 January 2018 (UTC) (talk)[reply]

I have no idea. I've worked on many biographical articles where the year of birth is uncertain. Sometimes we are able to find sources of high enough quality that we are able to clearly settle the issue. Often we end up leaving the year out, or list multiple years. I'll keep an eye on the article and help with anyone that wants to try to settle the dispute. --Ronz (talk) 04:34, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) i found a source that said he was born in 1959 https://books.google.com/books?id=3SG4CwAAQBAJ&pg=PT139&dq=michael+delorenzo+1959&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjW3JWg5L7YAhWM24MKHWBlBZEQ6AEILDAB#v=onepage&q=michael%20delorenzo%201959&f=false (talk) 12:02, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That's not a reliable source for disputed material for a biography.
Please continue this discussion on the article talk page. --Ronz (talk) 19:15, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1991 in film, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Ken Levine and David Isaacs (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Please do not add religion, ethnic, or descent categories or information to biography articles without first ensuring that 1) the category is supported by reliably sourced article content, 2) the individual identifies as such, and 3) it is a defining characteristic of the individual . Please see WP:BLPCAT, WP:EGRS, and WP:CATDEF for additional information. Note that you have had several issues with editing biography articles; if you're unable to understand Wikipedia's policies regarding living persons and sourcing, you will likely be blocked from editing altogether.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:53, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
