I mostly edit articles related to religions of ancient Mesopotamia and other related cultures (the Hurrians, Ebla, Elam, Ugarit...) and Japan (mostly Heian and the middle ages). I rely on up to date research from specialists while editing. Reliance on dubious, outdated or conspiratorial sources evident in many mythology articles is puzzling. A "source" written a century ago is hardly a source given the low quality of research in that period, imagine trying to do the same in articles about paleontology or astronomy.

I hope that one day it will be possible to bring the articles of all Mesopotamian (and related) deities to an acceptable standard, so that they will only have to be updated with freshly published information, but for now this goal does not seem attainable.

Articles I worked on

In most cases "worked on" means "wrote from scratch" or "rewrote from scratch." Note that while I did contribute to the Inanna, Ereshkigal, Ashtart and Anat articles in the past, I do not vouch for their accuracy overall since due to their questionable modern reception it's hard to keep the pages in good shape. Check edit history to verify information, or just seek credible authors on your own.

Articles created by me

This list does not include theonyms which were incorrectly used as redirects to pages of other deities which I turned into full articles.
