- Article new and long enough, and well cited. Hooks are interesting and are attributed to a source. Proposed image is free to be used on the main page. ALT2, which doesn't have a picture, could be a good hook for the bottom slot. QPQ not required. Styyx (talk) 23:21, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
- The word appears to be a Neologism which seems to comply with our WP:NEO policy. Lightburst (talk) 23:47, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
Generation Z or Generation Alpha?
Is this word used more by generation alpha? They’re the only generation I’ve personally heard using it. ERBuermann (talk) 23:08, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
Wikipedia is now a dictionary?
This is kind of coming out of a dictionary :) Lellyhatesanimals (talk) 07:24, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not a dictionary, but sometimes individual words have interesting stories surrounding them (covered by WP:WORDISSUBJECT in the dictionary essay). This is one of those cases where there's additional social context around the word that a dictionary wouldn't adequately capture. This is a fine article. toobigtokale (talk) 10:32, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

– This page should be moved as it is clearly the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the word. I'm not convinced the DAB page is even necessary TBH. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 12:12, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support Google doesn't appear to return any of the other 2 uses so it doesn't appear the rapper uses this name commonly. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:34, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support when i search "Rizz" on google the Wikipedia page for the slang is the page that shows up in the google infobox, make sure to redirect Rizz (slang) to the page if the move happens. Sebbog13 (talk) 01:50, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support The slang is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Some1 (talk) 00:35, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support. I agree that the slang term is the primary topic here. Aoba47 (talk) 02:55, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support, it does sound like the primary topic
- (note: ignore the reply that i made that simply reads "agreed") AaronNinetyTwo (talk) 16:20, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
Sources for 'Rizz' and 'Charisma' being related?
The page doesn't have a reference for 'rizz' having been used before Kai Cenat coined or popularised the word nor, and probably more importantly, does it have a reference for 'rizz' being derived from the word 'charisma'. 5.151.181.202 (talk) 02:49, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
- There are no academic or news sources, sadly 190.12.77.20 (talk) 18:44, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
can someone find sources for "rizz god" and "rizzard of oz"
these 2 terms are variations of the term rizz. the 2 obviously mean that the subject is good at "rizzing up" someone. rizzard of oz is obviously a reference to the wizard of oz. AaronNinetyTwo (talk) 15:09, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
- @AaronNinetyTwo: at a quick search, this Business Insider article mentions both briefly (but annoyingly doesn't explicitly make the connection to 'wizard of oz'). RS/P lists culture articles by Insider as generally reliable, so that might be acceptable (though I'm intentionally being quite vague here though as I haven't spent much time looking at this). - thank you. I added the source and the fact now AaronNinetyTwo (talk) 17:53, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
The Meaning of "Rizz"
"Rizz" was originally a shortened version of the word charisma. The word "Rizz" was originally used to complement others charisma. However, it has now become a new slang word meaning STD (sexually transmitted disease). Teenagers and young adults are now using this word to discretely communicate whether they themselves or others have a sexually transmitted disease. DR.Simone-Wilkens (talk) 04:54, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
- All we need now is a reliable source that says that. signed, Willondon (talk) 15:14, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
