I learned a lot from your article! Your edits were on topic, and the addition of the origins of the Ballade are well sourced and uniquely written to encapsulate the details without direct quoting the source. Citations work (I did not check out the book referenced, but I did look at the PDF sourced for origins), and it supported your statements. Given the topic I don't think there are many newer sources to consider adding at this time. You might consider changing the format of Instrumental ballades to be bulleted list like the examples of piano ballades for ease of reading the groupings of named individuals. Great work!
