Area of this constituency includes Rourkela Township and six Gram panchayats of Lathikata block.[2][3]

Counting of votes was on 4th June 2024.[6] In 2024 election, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Durga Charan Tanti defeated Biju Janata Dal candidate Archana Rekha Behara by a margin of 5,774 votes.
