Mizanur Rahman Kasemi (Bengali: মীযানুর রহমান কাসেমী) is a Bangladeshi Islamic scholar.[1] Author.[2], and speaker.[3]. He is widely recognized for his works on Islamic teachings, especially those related to the Sunnah (the practices of Prophet Muhammad). Kasemi has written several influential books, including Sunnati Jibon ("The Sunnah Life"), which is a guide to living according to Islamic principles. He is also known for delivering impactful sermons and lectures that focus on ethical and spiritual guidance based on Islamic teachings.

Education

Mizanur Rahman Kasemi spent his childhood in the Hooghly district of Kolkata, India. During his early years, he studied at the Nurul Quran Madrasa, where he memorized the Quran (Hifz). He later pursued his secondary education at the Jamia Qurania Arabia Lalbagh Madrasa in Bangladesh. Following that, he advanced his studies at the renowned Darul Uloom Deoband in India. After returning to Bangladesh, Mizanur Rahman continued his studies in Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh) and legal opinions (Fatwa) at Jamia Rahmania Arabia.[4] He is highly regarded for his contributions to Islamic scholarship, especially in the fields of Fiqh and religious guidance.

Career

Mizabur Rahman Kasemi is the founding principal of Ahsanu Uloom Qawmi Madrasa, Fokirhat. He serves as the education secretary of Markazul Quran Muhammadpur for a few years.[5][6] On 26 January 1995, he established the Jamia Rahmania Arabia, where he is the Muhaddith . He also serves as the of Al-Senior mufti Jamia Liddarasatul Islamiam, Dhaka.[4]
