On 11 November 2024, the driver of a small SUV deliberately rammed his vehicle into a crowd of pedestrians outside a stadium in Zhuhai, China, killing 35 people and injuring 43 others.[1]

Attack

At approximately 16:00 on 11 November 2024, an SUV hit citizens exercising at the Zhuhai Sports Center running track. There was heightened security in Zhuhai, which was hosting a major civil and military airshow.[2]

A 62-year-old man surnamed Fan was arrested on the scene after attempting to flee the site of the attack. Early reports shows that Fan was supposedly angered by divorcity of his wife and the dissatisfaction of property following it.[3][4]
