Request reason:

Decline reason:

You didn't address any issues, you reacted with increasing levels of hostility. Wording an insult as "a statement about your own sensibilities" is not an excuse. Otherwise any personal attack could be made policy-compliant by prefixing it with "I think...". Regarding the username, you can request a change of username yourself via Special:GlobalRenameRequest, but I have doubts the new name is much better at appeasing power tripping r****** like myself. Request reason:

If disagreeing with an admin is considered "increasing levels of hostility", then I am willing to abide by that rule as well. I just really want this whole thing to be over with. Please accept my humble apologies: fuck off fuck off fuck off, and fuck off fuck off fuck off. I made the name change request via the provided link, but they said it was inappropriate and that I should make a new name change request in my unblock request, so here it is: I want my new name to be "HonestManBad". Accept reason:

Renamed and unblocked, welcome back. I am a power tripping r*****. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 14:33, 22 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Username

[edit]

I realize you've been here for a few years, and the name was a bit less offensive at the time, but "retarded" is increasingly viewed as a slur, and I think it might run afoul of the naming policy. For my part, I was hesitant to address you by name in the discussion over at Talk:Carl Benjamin because I don't really want to use the term. I'm not sure what the response would be at Wikipedia:Usernames_for_administrator_attention, but I think changing it would be a good idea regardless of the rules because it seems likely to offend a fair number of Wikipedia editors. Would you consider changing it? Thanks Nblund talk 21:44, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't mind that it's offensive but I kinda hate it anyway. I'll probably change it once the discussion over there dies down. Retardednamingpolicy (talk) 21:57, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker)Just a heads up that requests for username change has died down if you'd like a rename A 10 fireplane Imform me 16:08, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I mean the ongoing discussion on Carl Benjamin. Retardednamingpolicy (talk) 17:14, 13 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Your username as it is clearly violates the username policy. Could you please go ahead and request the username change ASAP? ceranthor 15:33, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'll do it in my own time. Find something better to busy yourself with. Retardednamingpolicy (talk) 15:41, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Considering that many would find your username offensive, I would ask you to request a username change within the next few days, or I will start a discussion at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User names. Thanks. ceranthor 16:13, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

Because the inappropriate username and the personal attacks in response to polite requests regarding changing it, I have blocked this account from editing. You'll have to address these concerns if you wish to be unblocked. -- Ed (Edgar181) 19:55, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong on both counts. It was a demand that I change my username sooner than I otherwise would have of my own volition. I made a statement about me, specifically about my own sensibilities, not a statement about him, thus not a personal attack. However, now that I know Wikipedia is more sensitive than a fractured dick, I will change my conduct accordingly. My desired new username is Fatty McFatStacks. If you wanna make a name change request for me immediately and thus cause unnecessary confusion in the ongoing discussion I have on another page, go right ahead. Otherwise I'll wait a bit. Retardednamingpolicy (talk) 20:20, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well, thanks for totally sabotaging my ability to contribute to that ongoing discussion. This is a clear abuse of power, as I addressed the issues you raised and you didn't bother replying at all, so I hope you feel good about that. Anyway, I'll have that name change now if you please, to "Fatty McFatstacks". Use an underscore if space is not possible. Or a dot. Retardednamingpolicy (talk) 23:17, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Patient Zero. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Skald in Veum—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Patient Zerotalk 22:49, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cool power move. I went ahead and undid your reversion since you did not state a reason and I stated two. If you want to discuss this, do so at the appropriate talk page instead of abusing the vandalism template. HonestManBad (talk) 23:35, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I've taken a closer look, and you're right. My apologies. I see that you have already reverted my mistake so all is well there. I can assure you that this wasn't an attempt at a "power move" on my part, though. Patient Zerotalk 23:40, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, no worries. HonestManBad (talk) 23:59, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
