The Sundowners

[edit]

Edith Frost is the principle singer and probable songwriter of The Sundowners 1996 7" single "Singing Death Chants to the Stars", released on her label Drag City. I'm not aware of any source for this other than the record itself, in which one can plainly hear Edith Frost singing. Straw Dogberry (talk) 06:20, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Guest vocals + new stuff

[edit]

She also did guest vocals on other people's records like Songs:Ohia (most notably "Captain Badass"), Jon Langford, Jim O'Rourke, Jenny Toomey, Sigmatropic, etc. (see Allmusic's credit section). There are some newer tracks available on Bandcamp [[1]]. Marika Hackman did a cover version of Edith Frost's song "Temporary Loan". -- 2003:E5:1739:53FF:38C0:420D:B1D5:3C0E (talk) 13:48, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
