Mo Green

Maurice "Mo" Green is the Superintendent-elect of Public Instruction of North Carolina. He was elected to that office for a four-year term in November 2024.[1]

A graduate of Duke University with both a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics and a Juris Doctor degree, Green previously served as Superintendent Guilford County Schools from September 2008 until his resignation in December 2018 to serve as the executive director of the Z. Reynolds Smith Foundation [2][3][4]
