Edit summaries

Hi Zik199011. When you edit, please fill in the box labelled "Edit summary" that appears below the edit window. This text appears in the history log and helps other editors to understand what you did. I considered reverting your edit to Template:Branches of physics, because you didn't explain what you are trying to do and your organization of the material isn't obviously better than what you replaced. I second what Zik199011 says to you above. The purpose of this series of edits at Mathematics is not clear to me, and leaving a descriptive edit summary would help other editors understand your revisions. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and repeatedly making edits such as these without effectively communicating the reason for them may be seen as disruptive. See Help:Edit summary for more info. ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
