Andzevatsi

Please adding Andzevatsi state which was a dynasty of Kurdish ancestry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dilok27 (talkcontribs) 18 August 2021 (UTC)

Former dynasties, at a time when Kurdish identity is not firmly attested, described as Kurdish by some modern sources

Can’t we add a section about before Islam one

Some states were believed to be ancestors of Kurds before Islam. Barabara201 (talk) 21:37, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I want to put this file on the article. Zaman (talk) 12:36, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No. The maps shows dynasties which weren't even Kurdish, such as Zakarid dynasty, Kakuyids, and due to that possibly others as well. The origin of the Shabankara and Germiyanids are disputed per their articles (the latter is described as "Turco-Kurdish" as an alternative, not even "Kurdish"). --HistoryofIran (talk) 13:37, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@HistoryofIran Both Zakarids and Kakuyids removed, and for the Shabankara and Germiyanids I put (disputed). Zaman (talk) 13:56, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, but the disputed ones should be removed, as they are disputed. The Germiyanids were not even Kurdish at best, but Turco-Kurdish, which is not the same. I would also remove your name from the map. This is supposed to be an Encyclopediac project, don't need our names in the middle of the image. People can already see your name under "Author". HistoryofIran (talk) 14:22, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, is there a reason you have added "Arabian Gulf"..? WP:COMMON NAME is Persian Gulf. HistoryofIran (talk) 14:27, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@HistoryofIran Is there any policy supporting "disputed should be removed"? + I'll change the arabian gulf. Zaman (talk) 14:42, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
