Talk: Jai Uttal

Jai Uttal is an amazing, soft spoken man who found himself drawn to Indian music from around his neighborhood. This information comes from track 2. Invocation/Introduction off of his cd "Kirtan! The Art and Practice of Estatic Chant").

He sometimes teaches chanting classes at Esalen in Big Sur and often can be found touring the San Francisco bay area with stops at East West Bookstore and Spirit Rock.

Steve Jobs and Apple

[edit]

I removed claims that Jai Uttal inspired Steve Jobs to do a pilgrimage and led to the Apple trademark. No reliable source has been presented other than Jai Uttal's statement. This does not verify the statement as is required by the policy Wikipedia:Verifiability . It would be all too easy for many people to claim that they just remembered a conversation they had years ago with some famous person where they gave them their inspiration in some way. This needs verification from a reliable third part source. Edison (talk) 22:27, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
