  2. Thanks for your help today with the typo I found which needed editing. I did look around for some sort of edit on the page itself, and didn't see it, but will look harder next time. Question from Sharonzohar18 (10:18, 22 November 2024)

Hi. Thank you for helping me. I would like to start editing very very basically till I get more confidence. How do I find pages that only need spelling or grammar corrections? --Sharonzohar18 (talk) 10:18, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Sharonzohar18: Hey there! I think Category:Wikipedia articles needing copy edit is the page you're looking for. Happy editing! Bsoyka (tcg) 15:57, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question

Hello, my friend! I know we are getting into Thanksgiving vacation time, so no hurry on this, but I'm wondering if you have access to a version of this book by Leena Ahtola-Moorhouse. I believe it is only available in Finnish or Swedish, which is fine, but I'm looking for the single page catalogue entry for Self-Portrait, which is known as either Omakuva or Självporträtt, respectively. I think it's unlikely you will have access to these works, but I thought I would ask in the rare event that you do. Thanks for everything. Viriditas (talk) 23:08, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Viriditas: Hey! I've requested a copy through my library. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the folks in my interlibrary loan department are real-life magicians. I'm in a Big Ten Academic Alliance school, so their reach spreads pretty far. We'll see what they can do on this one! I'll be heading out of town for Thanksgiving to see family, so if it arrives after 11/27, it'll wait at my library until 12/2. I'll pin this section and let you know when they get back to me with some news. Bsoyka (tcg) 03:11, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Viriditas: Just got an email saying this one has shipped to my library! Bsoyka (tcg) 20:53, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Great news. I hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving with friends and family! Viriditas (talk) 20:54, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You as well!! Bsoyka (tcg) 21:09, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Ntekops on User:Ntekops/sandbox (15:15, 25 November 2024)

Good day mentor please check my sandbox if there is any corrections to be made on the new page article --Ntekops (talk) 15:15, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Ntekops: Hey there. That draft doesn't demonstrate that Ntekob (who I assume is you) meets our notability requirements. Furthermore, please see our page on why an article about yourself isn't necessarily a good thing. I advise you to work on contributing to Wikipedia in some way other than writing about yourself or people close to you. Bsoyka (tcg) 15:27, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from English man of the south (17:31, 25 November 2024)

how to change a article --English man of the south (talk) 17:31, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Thedragondemon (04:15, 27 November 2024)

how to make category from video games? --Thedragondemon (talk) 04:15, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Thedragondemon: Hey! I'm not sure what you mean by that—you may have a misunderstanding of how categories work. See Help:Categories for some more information. Bsoyka (tcg) 15:52, 29 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

RS or not?

Hi. I'm wondering if Miraheze and Reddit are reliable sources. I don't mean sourcing one thing said from the website like this:

"...is a weird company[2]"

Like this. It is acknowledged that it is just an opinion of the users on the site; For example:

"...Users on Miraheze, particularly(wiki this)and(wiki that)have critized the company as weird.[2]

Thanks and bye. Spongebob796 (talk) 08:21, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I even made a topic on a question named RS or not?. You have not replied. Answer please.Spongebob796 (talk) 13:21, 29 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Spongebob796: Hello. You asked your question on a national holiday in the United States, and I was spending time with my family. Practically every single editor on this site is a volunteer, and there is no deadline, so patience is always appreciated. Regarding your original question, those are unreliable sources, and I wouldn't include statements like that. Your or I could personally visit a Miraheze wiki or Reddit right now and call a company weird—there's no reason for Wikipedia to use any information from such sources.
