Luke Alexander McDowell (born 17 May, 1992) is an American football quarterback for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). After a three-year college career at Cincinnati, McDowell was chosen by the with the 25th overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft.
He was immediately named the starting quarterback upon his drafting and led the team to a 45-31 victory over the New Orleans Saints in Super Bowl L in just his third year in the league, being named the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player after posting a perfect passer rating.
