Denzel "Duke" Dennis (/duːk ˈdɛnɪs/ DOOK-DEN-iss) is an American YouTuber, Twitch streamer, social media personality and AMP member. He is best known for his content centered around the game NBA 2K, and live streams.
Early Life
[edit]Duke Dennis was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. Before his career, Duke played varsity football at Travelers Rest High School in South Carolina from 2010 to 2012. He was part of the team during those years, wearing jersey number 34.[3] Dennis would also serve in the United States Army, being stationed in Germany and performing administrative duties. After completing his four-year contract in 2017, Dennis returned home to pursue content creation full-time. He has two younger brothers, one of whom frequently appears in his videos.[4]
Career
[edit]Duke made his YouTube Channel in 2016 and began uploading NBA 2K gameplay videos to YouTube in 2017, Duke also made his twitch in 2016 and start streaming in 2017. In 2020, Duke officially joined the AMP group alongside other creators like Kai Cenat, Fanum, Agent 00, ChrisNxtDoor, and ImDavisss. As of 2024, Duke has 3 official channels DukeDennis LIVE, Duke Dennis Gaming, Duke Dennis.[5]
On August 27, 2023 Duke Dennis was nominated for sports in 13th Streamy Awards.[6][7]
In 2024, Rolling Stone listed Duke Dennis among the "25 Most Influential Creators of 2024," ranking him in the top five.[8]
Duke Dennis participated in AMP's 2024 Freshman Cypher.[9][10]
Duke Dennis also went sneaker shopping with Complex.[11]
