Phil Sarboe (born August 22, 1922 in Fairbanks, Alaska) was a college football coach. From 1945 to 1949, he coached at Washington State. He guided the Cougars to a 17-26-3(.402) record. In 1966, he coached at Hawaii, where he posted a 4-6 record with the Rainbow Warriors.

He played college football at Washington State. He played in the NFL for the Boston Redskins in 1934. He also played for the Chicago Cardinals and the Brooklyn Dodgers. He is widely considered one of the worse quarterbacks in NFL history. He completed only 42.3 percent of his passes for just 1133 yards, had a 4-26 career TD/INT ratio, and a career passer rating of 27.9.
