Santhosh Kumar (born July 15, 2005) is an Indian ethical hacker and cybersecurity researcher.[1][2] He is known for his work in finding vulnerabilities in websites and applications, earning recognition in several high-profile security platforms. Santhosh has been acknowledged by major organizations like NASA[3], Lenovo[4], Citigroup, Monash University[5], Cisco[6] and several government agencies for his contributions to cybersecurity.[7] Despite his young age, Santhosh has made a name for himself in the field of ethical hacking and has been featured in numerous "Hall of Fame" lists for his achievements in Bugcrowd with his leet name "Anonymous 1947".[8]

Early Life

Santhosh was born in India in 2005. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in technology, which deepened when his parents gifted him his first computer. His fascination with hacking began during his teenage years when he started exploring cybersecurity and hacking-related concepts independently.[9] By the age of 17, Santhosh had already discovered several critical bugs in social media platforms and websites, earning accolades from industry experts.[10]

Education

Santhosh is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications (BCA) with a specialization in Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, and Data Forensics at Yenepoya University in India. He balances his academic responsibilities with his passion for cybersecurity, regularly contributing to the cybersecurity community through research, vulnerability reporting, and ethical hacking efforts.[11]
