The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) is a privately held Nigerian company established under the Companies and Allied Matters Act. It is fully owned by the Federal, State, and Local government of Nigeria.[4][5][6][7][8]

History

The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) was set up in August 2005 to manage the National Integrated Power Projects (NIPP). These projects were funded by the Excess Crude Savings Account, which is shared by the Federal, State, and Local Governments.[8][4]

NDPHC is a limited liability company that uses business practices similar to those in the private sector. Its main goal is to improve Nigeria’s electricity supply by building and maintaining power plants and other related infrastructure.
