I am a 65 year old retired computer scientist, electrical engineer, and chipset designer who spends his retirement as an OLCC licensed marijuana farmer who lives in Portland, Oregon. I hold degrees in Nuclear Physics, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science. I am also published on Google Scholar, and have authored numerous patents which are owned by Oracle Corporation and Computer Associates in the fields of High Performance Computing, Computer Science, and Network Forensics. I also hold a patents for the design of a regenerative braking system for electric vehicles. I have developed advanced storage technology which has been deployed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory High Performance Computing Center employing multi-planar massively parallel storage systems on Scalable Coherent Interface and Infiniband. These days, I spend my time working on a large body of open source projects, and occasionally editing part time on Wikipedia when I am not watering my garden. I am proficient in C, Assembler for various processors, and a whole bunch of other computer languages, along Linux Kernel programming and custom file systems for various clients. My most recent project is a parallel file system to replace lustre and ceph (two very crappy parallel file systems) with several research fellows from Los Alamos, one of whom is retired as well.
