Just in Time
Barbie is given as an example of "Just in Time" manufacturing in the book The Box by Marc Levinson in chapter 14. *Levinson, Marc (2016). The Box: How the Shipping Container Made the World Smaller and the World Economy Bigger (2nd ed.). Princeton University Press. p. 355. ISBN 978-0-691-17081-7. Blind Barbie
There's now a Blind Barbie, created with support from the American Foundation of the Blind. I think this is worth mentioning.
I'm happy to put something together but of course anyone else can jump in if they like. KaraLG84 (talk) 00:02, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
- Added a couple of sentences about the blind Barbie as well as the black Barbie with Down Syndrome. I wasn't sure how to expand the little I wrote without sounding like I was paraphrasing the article in my citation. KaraLG84 (talk) 15:00, 29 July 2024 (UTC)

- Not done: The problem with this is that it is an online TV show from Channel 4 and would only be watchable in the UK.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 08:19, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
